Short-term and semester courses for organized groups from Universities or foreign institutions

The School of Polish Language and Culture offers programs for foreign universities or other institutions. Institutions planning to send their students to the School should contact the School's office and make an official request. The request should specify the key program requirements, including the topics of lectures, proficiency levels of Polish language courses, the program dates, etc. We have experience and expertise to organize both short-term courses and programs of the "semester abroad" type. Such programs may include Polish language teaching at all language proficiency levels and lectures on a wide range of topics in Polish history, culture, art, geography, environmental protection, economy, sociology, social and political transition. The language in which the lectures are to be delivered is negotiable. The lectures are provided by Jagiellonian University academic staff, specialists in the field who have experience in teaching overseas students. Our academic offer can be supplemented with a sightseeing and cultural program. The School can provide a guide for the group and assistance with finding accommodation. We do our best to meet any specific requirements of our clients.

At the conclusion of each program the participants obtain Jagiellonian University diplomas. The School also issues students with the Transcript of Studies – an official document confirming course completion and specifying all the passed exams and tests, the number of contact hours and topics of lectures. The Transcript of Studies enables the transfer of credit points (ECTS points).
